Giggling for joy

Proverbs 15:13 KJV — A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Your heart was designed to be merry.

You were created to rejoice, be joyful and be glad.

That’s how your heart (spirit+soul) was designed to function. It wasn’t designed to be weighed down with sorrow.

Giggling for joy and constantly being amazed and thankful are how you were designed to be.

Your heart’s default setting is joy unspeakable.

Rejoice and be glad and let your heart produce all that God has placed in your spirit.

Joy is the bucket you use to draw out what’s in your heart.

Focus on your right standing

Proverbs 14:34 KJV — Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

As a result of having right standing with God, you possess a force within you that seeks to exalt you, promote you, protect you, reward you and ensure that all your physical needs are satisfied.

It seeks to exalt you the way it seeks to exalt a nation.

Focus on your awareness of being in right standing with God…and let that right standing take care of the rest.

Focus on what you’ve been given

Proverbs 12:11 KJV — He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

There are ideas, gifts, talents, opportunities and relationships that God has given you to steward.

Draw a boundary line around these things that separates them from everything else that you haven’t been given. Put up fences and barriers and signs that shoe the difference between what’s yours and everything else.

Within your boundary line, divide up the land into the different sections that you’re going to attend to.

Then pour your attention and energy into cultivating what’s inside your boundary line.

Focus your attention on what you’ve been given.

Marinaded

Proverbs 23:17 KJV — Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.

Stay soaking in the Word of God.

Stay soaking in the fear love of the Lord all the day long.

Marinaded.

That’s the natural environment for your heart.

Your heart (mind+will+emotions) operates best when it is soaked in the nature of God and your relationship with Him.

Guided by the blessing

Proverbs 10:4 KJV — He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

Two truths about riches are shared in Proverbs 10.

One, the hand of the diligent makes rich. (Prov 10:4)

Two, the blessing of the Lord makes rich. (Prov 10:22)

Let your diligence be guided by the blessing.

Diligence is the hand, but the blessing is the power that flows in that hand.

Stop doing list

Proverbs 9:6 KJV — Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Don’t worry about doing more, focus on doing less.

What will be on your stop-doing list today?

Daily update

Proverbs 8:34 KJV — Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

The Word of God has something to share with you every single day.

Tune in daily, expecting to hear something.

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they will be filled. (Matthew 5:6)

Conspiring with the word

Proverbs 7:3 KJV — Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

Bind. qāšar. Tie together. Conspire together. Treason.

The Word of God has an agenda to bring abundant life into this present age.

The Word of God is inviting you to conspire with it to enable the Kingdom of light to invade the lives of those around you.

That’s what you are part of.

Whatever you do (fingers = work), ensure that it is tied together to the conspiratorial agenda and strategies of the Word of God.
