Ravished in the covenant

Proverbs 5:19 KJV — Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

You can be ravished within the covenant, or ravished outside the covenant.

Be ravished in the covenant.

God has provided for everything you need inside your covenant with Him, of which marriage is a part.

So when desire is pulling you outside, that’s a signal for you to satisfy your desire inside covenant.

Be ravished inside the covenant.

You + God = Holy ground

Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

Acts 7:33

Jerusalem, Mecca, Old Trafford, Abbey Road, The Vatican, Graceland, Las Vegas…these are some of the famous “Holy Grounds”, places that catalyse expectation and faith to create the miraculous.

But really, your Holy Ground is any place that YOU have an encounter with the Divine. It’s the place where you noticed something odd that piqued your curiosity enough to get you to take a closer look.

Those instances and moments are sacred and holy. Take off your shoes and don’t let anyone con you into treating them as common.

Don’t lose hope

Proverbs 4:23 KJV — Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Keep hold of it, no matter what.

The seed of God’s word that is in your heart will produce a harvest that will feed you in every aspect of life.

Keep sowing and tending your ground, no matter what.

Don’t lose hope…that’s what the world is trying to steal.

Divine protection

For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Proverbs 3:26

God will keep your foot from being taken. He is personally taking responsibility for keeping your foot from being taken. It’s His job, not yours, to keep you safe. You’ve got Divine protection everywhere you go in every facet of your life. Selah.

Go find it

Proverbs 3:4 KJV — So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

You’ve already been given everything you need in Jesus.

Your job is to go find what He’s hidden within you.

Like treasure, it’s not hidden from you, it’s hidden for you.

Listening

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2:6

Wisdom, knowledge and understanding. They come from God’s mouth but they enter your life through your ears.

What are you listening to? Who are you listening to?

Your capacity to listen is more powerful than you realise.

Throwing is catching

Proverbs 2:10-11 KJV — When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

The critical skill in juggling is throwing and not catching.

If you throw the ball correctly, the catching will take care of itself.

How you throw the ball really matters in juggling.

Similarly, how you receive the Word is the critical step.

The promises of preservation and being kept are downstream from receiving the Word of God in your heart.

Wisdom will make herself known unto you

Proverbs 1:23 KJV — Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

The power of the Gospel is that God came looking for man and made a way for man to come back to God.

Here, wisdom is waiting on you to change before she comes to you.

Wisdom – the word of God (John 1:1) – has put the onus on herself to make her words known unto you.

You just need to let wisdom into your heart, and she will do the rest.

Let wisdom help you

Proverbs 1:23 KJV — Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Wisdom is openly crying out in the streets and freely available to everyone who will receive her.

The wisdom you need about that situation isn’t far away. She’s staring you in the face, openly sharing everything she has.

Will you let wisdom help you?
