Authority is freedom

Proverbs 29:2 KJV — When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Discipline authority is freedom.

You experience the freedom found in boundless uninhibited rejoicing, when you exercise your authority.

Every area where you’re not exercising your authority is an area where the people – starting with you – are in mourning.

You are free

John 8:36 KJV — If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

You are free in your Spirit, the part that’s the real you.

Now, insist on being who and what you really are.

Gathering wood

Proverbs 26:20 KJV — Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

Keep gathering wood. Keep showing up to the Page. Keep writing and sharing new songs. Keep sharing your ideas in the open marketplace.

All of this is gathering wood that will sustain a fire that will never go out.

The fire is coming: keep gathering and stacking wood on the altar.

Shepherd for the sheep

1 Samuel 22:2 KJV — And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

David was the Shepherd and the sheep who needed him to lead them were the ones who gathered around him.

You are the Shepherd. Make sure you show up so that the Lord can lead His sheep through you.

Not fighting to get

Proverbs 24:6 KJV — For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

You’re not fighting to get, where your starting position is one of ‘not having’.

You’re fighting to have what Jesus has already given you.

God wants to help you be rich

Proverbs 23:4 KJV — Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

God gave you the power to obtain wealth. God is the one who teaches you to profit. And Jesus became poor so that you through His poverty might be rich.

God wants you rich, and He wants to help you be rich.

It’s time to stop trying to “figure things out”, and time to let the Creator of the Universe – your Father – help you be rich.

Be not dismayed

Isaiah 41:10 KJV — Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Don’t be dismayed.

The Creator of the Universe is with you, for you and He loves you.

God’s love, affection and power are proactively focused on doing you good.

If this were a Substack blogger

2 Kings 7:1-2 KJV — Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Via ChatGPT:

Imagine a Substack blogger who has been toiling away for months, maybe even years. This blogger has only 10 subscribers, most of whom are friends or family, and they have made no money from their writing. Despite pouring their heart and soul into every post, the blogger is stuck—unseen, unread, and completely discouraged. Their Substack is barely known, with no real prospects of growth. They’re considering quitting because it feels like their efforts will never pay off.

Now, picture someone like Elisha coming to this blogger and saying:

“By this time tomorrow, you will have 100,000 subscribers, and your newsletter will be generating $50,000 in monthly revenue.”

For a blogger who has struggled to get even 10 subscribers, this prophecy sounds absurd, even laughable. How could such explosive growth happen overnight? There’s no marketing budget, no viral content, no celebrity endorsements—nothing that would realistically explain such a meteoric rise. The blogger might react with skepticism, thinking, “Even if I somehow went viral, there’s no way I could gain that many followers or make that kind of money so quickly!”

Specific Nature and Rate of Change:

To translate this into precise terms:

  • Subscribers: The blogger currently has only 10 subscribers. Elisha’s prophecy implies they would gain 99,990 new subscribers in a single day. That’s an increase of 999,900%—an astronomical rate of growth that would be unimaginable for almost any content creator.
  • Income: With zero income currently, the prophecy suggests a sudden jump to $50,000 in monthly revenue. This means going from $0 to $50,000 overnight—a rate of change that defies all conventional understanding of how online monetization works.

For a Substack blogger, this kind of growth would typically take years of consistent effort, a lucky break, or a combination of both. To go from 10 followers and no income to 100,000 followers and a high five-figure monthly income in 24 hours would seem impossible by any normal metric. The prophecy, therefore, challenges the very assumptions that the blogger (and anyone else familiar with the industry) would have about what is possible.

Improbability in Contemporary Terms:

Such a scenario might be as improbable as a blogger with a tiny audience suddenly having their work featured by a major news outlet, shared by a celebrity with millions of followers, or even picked up by a platform like Substack as a “recommended read,” causing a massive spike in both readership and revenue. But even then, the level of growth predicted would be hard to believe.

This modern-day translation captures the emotional impact of Elisha’s prophecy: the promise of an impossible, overnight transformation that flies in the face of all expectations. It highlights the disbelief that would naturally follow such a bold prediction and sets the stage for the miraculous fulfillment that, according to the biblical narrative, only divine intervention could accomplish.

The Creator lives in you

Colossians 1:27 KJV — To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

The Creator of the Universe lives in you.

The Creator.

You don’t need to worry. Because you’ve got the Creator living on the inside of you.
