Able to separate

Hebrews 4:12 KJV — For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

But the love of God is able to separate us from anything, anyone and every situation that may feel as if it’s always going to be part of us.

Nothing is too hard for the Lord.

And nothing and no one can cling to you so strongly that the Word of God isn’t able to separate you from it.

Place a demand on the Lord

John 15:7 KJV — If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

You and the Lord are now one spirit…so now what?

How do things work now that you and the Lord are one spirit?

Part of the answer is: place a demand.

Ask what you will. Require something of the Lord. Place a demand on Him. Have an expectation of Him.

Religion will try to rob you through saying it’s rude, or arrogant or unspiritual or mercenary to expect anything from your relationship with the Lord.

Don’t fall for that.

The starting point is abiding in the Lord.

And then as you abide in Him, make sure you place a demand on Him for everything  that you desire.

That’s what God’s waiting for you to do.

“The” is different from “a”

John 14:6 KJV — Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus that He is THE way, THE truth and THE life.

He didn’t say “a” way, “a” truth and “a” life.

Jesus isn’t one of many options.

Jesus is THE…

Vine-branch relationship

John 15:5 KJV — I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Jesus is the Vine, and you are the branch.

That’s the nature of your oneness.

He is the source, and your role is to display what He produces.

The burden of provision is on Him.

An intimate encounter with the Word

1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV — But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

This is what happened to you when you got born again. You had an intimate encounter with the Word. You heard the Word, you believed it, and you and the Lord became one spirit.

Believing the Word is grossly underrated.

One spirit with the Lord

1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV — But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

You and the Lord are now one.

There is no “you” without Him.

You’re the water that has been turned into wine, and can never be turned back again.

Everything about you changed.

The old is gone, the new has come.

You and the Lord are now one spirit.

What’s holding you back

Proverbs 25:5 KJV — Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.

What’s holding you back might not be what you don’t have, but rather what you need to let go of.

You don’t need more accelerator, you just need less handbrake.

How are you building your house?

Proverbs 24:3 KJV — Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

Are you building your house through wisdom, which is the Word of God…or not?

Those are the two options.

The house here is your lineage, your family, your line of descendants in the earth.

Build your family on the wisdom and understanding of the Word of God, and it will be established forever.

What’s going on?

Proverbs 23:1 KJV — When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:

What’s going on?

Keep that question close to you when you’re sitting down to eat with a person of influence.

There’s more to it than meets the eye.

Connected to the vine

Psalm 37:4 KJV — Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

God designed you to enjoy life connected to the Vine…connected to Him.

Separation from the Vine is death. Connection to the Vine is life, abundance and fruitfulness.
