Are you fully persuaded?

Romans 4:21 KJV — And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Okay, so you’re persuaded. But are you fully persuaded?

And not just about anything.

Are you fully persuaded that what God has promised you He is able to perform in your life?

You’ve got it. You believe. You’re standing right on the edge of the cliff.

Now, take the leap into what you are already convinced of regarding the promises of God.

Be fully persuaded.

Why you study

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV — Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

You study to show yourself approved of God.

You study to show yourself, not God, that you are approved unto God.

You’re not trying to convince God, you’re trying to convince yourself of what God says you already have.

Persuade and turn away

Acts 19:26 KJV — Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

Before they turn away, they need you to persuade them.

Before you turn away – change your actions – you need to be persuaded.

Persuasion occurs in the arena of the mind. Your thoughts lead to feelings which lead to actions.

Be persuaded of what God says about you, and the resulting change will be automatic and effortless.

Get dressed

Ephesians 6:11 KJV — Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Jesus has already saved you, transformed your spirit, you’re born again, and everything He accomplished on your behalf is already finished.

Now, as a new creature, your part is to get dressed.

Put on the whole armour of God.

This doesn’t affect your salvation, it helps you effect it.

Get dressed in the whole armour of God.

When and how

Ecclesiastes 8:6 AMP — For there is a proper time and [appropriate] procedure for every delight,

Though mankind’s misery and trouble lies heavily upon him [who rebels against the king].

Everything has a “when” and a “how”.

Timing and procedure.

Lord, please show me what to do, how to do it and when to do it.

Go out to sow

Mark 4:3 KJV — Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

Leave where you are and go out to sow.

Sow liberally and generously.

Sow with great expectation.

Sow for the joy set before you.

Sow during a time of famine.

Sow without regard for wind or rain.

Sow even if you have to deal with a lion in the streets on your way to the field.

The only way to get a harvest is to go out to sow and keep on sowing.

Of no reputation

Philippians 2:7 KJV — But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Jesus, our Lord, made Himself of no reputation.

So why are we constantly trying to do the opposite of what our Lord did?

God will tell you what to do

Genesis 26:2 KJV — And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

God told Isaac not to go down into Egypt. He told Isaac not to follow the traditions of his father Abraham or the wisdom of the world. And God did this during a time of famine.

God is no respector of persons.

So if He gave specific financial instruction to Isaac during a famine, much more will He do the same for you.

Have you received it?

Galatians 4:5 KJV — To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Have you received the adoption of sons?

Have you received your identity as a son of God and an heir of all the promises in Jesus?

Have you received your right standing with God and full access to His nature within you?

God’s given it, but have you received it?
