Make it part of you

Hebrews 4:2 KJV — For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Mix. Commingle. Unite. Cause several parts to combine into an organic structure. To unite one thing to another.

That’s what you’re doing when you spend time soaking in the word.

You’re making it part of you.

That’s how it starts profiting and becoming useful to you.

Already prepared for you

1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV — But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

God has already prepared some amazing things for you, far greater and cooler and more satisfying and exciting than anything you could ever possibly manage.

Finished works. Good works. Already prepared for you.

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to walk in these things.

You ARE dead to sin

Romans 6:2 KJV — God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

You are dead to sin. Right now. Regardless of what you’ve done or are doing or will do.

When you became born again, you died to sin.

Died.

Death. Separation of spirit from body.

You are dead to sin.

This isn’t true because of your actions.

It’s true because of what happened when you got born again.

You are dead to sin and everything that springs out of the root of sin.

Hallelujah!

Because you’ve found favour

1 Samuel 16:22 KJV — And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.

As gifted as you are, Kings and Queens are going to specifically ask for you, because you’ve found favour in their sight.

Their sight. Their perspective.

Others might not view you the same way.

But the great ones who do call for specifically you, will do it because you’ve found favour.

Closer than a “Siamese Twin”

Hebrews 4:12 KJV — For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Even if you’ve got a person or problem that seems stuck to you like a conjoined twin, the Word of God is able to separate you from it.

Like Abraham from Lot, Eve from Adam’s rib, Saul from his Kingdom, Naaman from leprosy, Israel from Babylon, Paul from the Pharisees, Bartimeus from blindness, Peter from his identity as a fisherman…

No matter what “your” Siamese Twin is (it isn’t yours), the Word of God is able to separate you from it.

Your relationship with God

1 Samuel 17:50 KJV — So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

A sling and a stone and his relationship with God.

That’s all you need to kill the Philistine.

In fact, all you need is the last one.

Everything springs from that.

Intimacy comes with benefits

John 15:7 KJV — If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

And one of the benefits of intimacy with the Lord is being able to ask what you will and have it be done unto you.

This benefit is for the here and now.

Use the benefits of your intimacy.

Forcefields on

Proverbs 30:5 KJV — Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Shield = forcefield.

Covered on every side, inside and outside, 24/7.

The Lord is your forcefield.

The Word of God is your forcefield.

Jesus is THE…

John 14:6 KJV — Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Way, truth, life…and THE only way to enjoy a relationship with God.

You don’t need a what, you need a who, and that who is Jesus.
