Proverbs 1:17 KJV — Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.

A bird may not be very intellectual, but it’s wise enough to avoid a net that it sees someone spread in front of it.

This sounds simple, but this catches out many people who would see themselves as smarter than birds.

And they are.

But the question is this: are you wise enough to walk in the simple things that are beneath your intellect?

Romans 4:21 KJV — And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Both of these belong to God.

It’s God who promises, and it’s God who performs His own promise.

Your part is simply to believe aka be fully persuaded of this reality.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV — Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To show, paristēmi, means to bring into fellowship and intimacy.

That’s the point of study.

You take the time to know the Scriptures, trace your fingers over the contours of knowledge in order to be intimately acquainted with it.

And in the place of intimacy, conception takes place.

You study in order to turn strangers and acquaintances into intimate members of who you are.

Acts 19:26 KJV — Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

Paul was the catalyst for many people turning away from idolatry unto salvation through faith in Jesus.

Who’s waiting for you to show up?

They are.

You’ll find them as you simply share what the Lord has given you.

Share what He’s shown you, and let Him take care of the harvest that comes from the seed you sow.

(The seed is the Word is the seed.)

Show up and share what the Lord has shown you…they are waiting to be persuaded by you.

Ephesians 3:12 KJV — In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

In Jesus, I have boldness and access. These are nouns.

I’ve got boldness and I’ve got access, and I’ve also got confidence.

Boldness and access with confidence.

Selah.

Ephesians 6:11 KJV — Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Put on the whole armour of God.

All of it, with nothing left out.

If you leave out part, you haven’t put on the whole.

Man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).

Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ecclesiastes 8:6 AMP — For there is a proper time and [appropriate] procedure for every delight,

Though mankind’s misery and trouble lies heavily upon him [who rebels against the king].

Lord, please show me the appropriate procedure for this moment in time.

Knowing that there is an appropriate procedure for where you are now is the first step towards being able to ask the Lord to guide you in it.

Mark 4:3 KJV — Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

When you go out to sow (time, money, attention, energy), sometimes the birds snatch the seed.

This happens to anyone in the business of sowing, ie all human beings.

Don’t let the birds discourage you from sowing.

Just keep on sowing, trusting that when those birds inevitably poop out those seeds, you’ll end up with a harvest in fields you never even imagined.

Philippians 2:7 KJV — But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Jesus made Himself of no reputation, and afterwards was given the name that is above every name.

Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He shall life you up. (James 4:10).
