I’m not supposed to be here

For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon. – Genesis 40:15

You’re not supposed to be here…but you are.

So the question is:

What are you going to do about being somewhere that you’re “not supposed to be”?

Even better:

What could you do being somewhere that you’re not supposed to be?

What could you do if you were suddenly in possession of a blank cheque signed by Warren Buffet?

What could you do if you were stuck on a lift for 3 hours with Will Smith or Oprah?

What could you do if you were suddenly given an amazing opportunity that you’re “not supposed to have”?

What would you do if you realized that this amazing opportunity is hidden somewhere in the dungeon that you’re stuck in…the one you’re “not supposed to be in”?

You’d probably handle it differently.

You’d probably change your posture and start exploring it with a sense of curiosity, excitement and anticipation.

You’re right: you’re not supposed to be here, and they were wrong to do what they did to you.

But now that you’re here, you might as well make the most of being somewhere you’re “not supposed to be”.
