Be the real you

Rejoice evermore. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16

You are a Spirit, you have a Soul (mind+will+emotions), and you live in a Body.

You can see your Body in a reflection a piece of glass.

You can see your Soul through the way you express yourself and through times of quiet introspection.

But the real you, the Spirit, can’t be discerned or seen by any of those means.

Instead, you see your Spirit through the mirror of the Word of God. (James 1:23-25)

And the real you…rejoices evermore.

Regardless of outcomes or situations, the real you’s disposition is to “rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4)

Not the forced look-at-me-Christian kind of rejoicing.

But the kind that follows the simple decision to rejoice evermore.

Once you commit to being who you really are in the Spirit, the rest will take care of itself.
