Then the baby’s sister asked the king’s daughter, “Would you like me to find a Hebrew woman to nurse the baby for you?” The king’s daughter said, “Yes, please.” So the girl went and got the baby’s own mother. – Exodus 2:7-8
At an extremely basic level, it seems that just one question turned this scene from a “Lose-Win” to a “Win-Win”. And so the simplistic insight from this moment is the huge benefits to be found from the habit of thinking win-win.
But bigger than this is the Truth that we know:
“…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28
So whatever is happening around you, seemingly for your bad, you have the right, expectation and responsibility to ask:
How does this work for my good…how do I unwrap the “Win” hidden inside this moment?
