Deuteronomy 10:15 KJV — Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
The basis of the Covenant – old or new – is nothing to do with you.
It was established before you got here, will continue long after you’re gone, and your performance will not alter its nature.
When you cooperate with the Covenant, you benefit from it.
When you neglect it or ignore it, you experience a life that shows the Covenant has nothing to do with you.
