Proverbs 18:12 KJV — Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.
When you see rain clouds, you suspect that it’s going to rain.
When you see haughtiness, you know that destruction of some sort is on its way.
When you see humility, you know that honour is inevitable.
Humility means submission to what God says about you.
Pride is indulging in what your feelings say about you.
