John 3:15 KJV — That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
The sweetest baby or cutest child, taken care of by this world’s system, will perish.
The cuteness will curdle, the sweetness will sour, and like a yoghurt left out in the sun, they will eventually spoil.
Some will spoil in blatant outward demonstrations. Others in the quietness of bitterness, envy and scorn.
But eventually, they will all perish in this world, and fully when they inevitably die.
Jesus doesn’t want you to perish. He came to give you eternal life that starts right now.
You don’t have to perish. You can be preserved.
