Snatched away

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. – Psalm 91:3

God loves you.

God lives in you.

And God has promised to deliver you from the snares of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.

Snares and pestilence are bad things.

Jesus said that in this world we would have tribulation, but that we should be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. (John 16:33)

How do you reconcile the promise of deliverance with the experiences of bondage and non-deliverance?

First, decide to believe God’s Word over your experiences. Let God be true and every man a lie. (Romans 3:4)

Second, remember that the promises of God are not automatic. They don’t just happen.

You have to claim them by faith, expect them to happen and use them to speak with authority to your situation so that it lines up with the Word of God.

You’ve got a promise from God that He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and the noisome pestilence.

Your part is to receive that promise knocking at your door (Rev 3:20) and submit to the direction of that promise in effecting your deliverance.
