And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. – Galatians 6:9
Feeling like giving up is normal.
In fact, it’s to be expected when you start down the path of “well doing”…doing something of significance, living out of your true identity in Christ.
So when you feel like giving up…don’t.
Decide not to give up.
The encouragement in Galatians 6:9 reveals a powerful truth: you can decide to “faint not”.
God never asks you to do something that you can’t do.
And everything He shows you or says to you through the Scriptures is only to be done using His strength and ability in you.
Apart from me ye can do nothing…
So when you feel like giving up, simply decide to keep going and keep sowing, regardless of how persistent the feeling of “wanting to give up” is.
And as you keep going, and as you “not giving up”, you’ll find yourself reaping in due season.
