The entity called “you” probably doesn’t have a great track record.
“You” has made mistakes.
“You” has been an embarrassment and made many cringeworthy choices.
“You” has been silly, lazy, distracted, unfocused, weak, cowardly, unimpressive and many other things that the entity called “Them” readily points out to you…with documented evidence and proof.
Be that as it may, you still need to pay attention to “You”, because that’s who God talks to.
“You”, not “Them”.
He will show things to “You” that He never shows to “Them”.
He might confirm something to you through “Them” that He has already first informed “You” of.
“You” is your heart: mind+will+emotions.
And as tempting as it can be to join “Them” in devaluing the importance and significance of “You”…don’t.
Pay attention to what’s in your heart. (Proverbs 4:23).
Keep listening to “You”.
