To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me. – 1 Samuel 9:16
As far as Saul was concerned, he was just looking for some donkeys that had gone missing.
But as far as God was concerned, Saul was being sent by God to meet Samuel the Prophet, in order to be anointed the first King of Israel.
Searching for donkeys, or being sent by God?
In the dark or in the darkroom?
Maybe you’re just looking after the kids, trying to make ends meet, surviving a job you hate, trying to find something that’s gone missing.
Or maybe your circumstances are being used by God to order your steps into the destiny He created you for.
What do you think? (Proverbs 23:7)
