Go do it

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. – Luke 19:13

Up until this moment, you thought and operated as if you were just a servant.

You lived your life from the position of one who waits to be told what to do.

Focused on doing your job.

Waiting to receive orders.

But in that waiting there was a restlessness.

A restlessness in the part of you that believed you had more to offer.

More to give than was being asked of you.

More to you than meets the eye.

You’re right.

That’s why I gave you those talents.

And that’s why I’m giving you this moment.

Don’t waste it and don’t minimise it.

This is the moment where you go from servanthood to stewardship.

Not because I’ve just given you something, but rather because you realise that you’ve already been given so much.

And the question has always been: what are you going to do with what you’ve been given?

What are you going to do with this moment?

One thing.

Occupy.

Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it.

Yes, you.

Occupy till I come.

And when I come, you get to show me what I’ve always seen in you.

Not the results you achieve…but the person you’ve transformed into in order to achieve those results.

That’s what this is all about.

Occupy till I come.

You know what that means.

Go do it.
