Lean into “my”

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. – Psalm 23:1

The Lord is my shepherd.

Not “ours”, even though He is.

He’s my shepherd, pertaining specifically to me as an individual.

This is true whether I believe it or not. This is true whether I’m aware of it or not.

But when I’m aware of it, believe it, and then lean into the relationship of God as my shepherd, that’s when I experience the benefits of this reality.

There are many dimensions in which God wants to personally relate to you.

Start with the ones you’re aware of…and then lean all the way into them.
