Meditation, elevation and manifestation

And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming. – Genesis 24:63

Isaac went out to meditate in the field. Isaac then elevated his vision in the place of meditation. Isaac received the manifestation of the one whom God had appointed to him…his wife Rebekah.

Later we read that Isaac: “became rich and kept getting richer until he was very wealthy.” – Genesis 26:13

Since we tend to do what we always do, it’s not hard to imagine that going out to the field to meditate was something that Isaac did as a habit.

A habit that God commands Joshua to adopt when He says:

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. – Joshua 1:8

Isaac didn’t have the Book of the law. But he did have the promise that God made to his father Abraham. He had the experience of being tied to a piece of wood and almost being slaughtered by his own father. He had the story of his miraculous conception. He had his grief over losing his mother. He had his desires for finding a life companion.

He had a whole life to contemplate and ponder and reflect on…and so do you.

Meditate, elevate and then receive the manifestation.
