Jesus said to them, `l tell you the truth. The Son cannot do anything alone. He sees what his Father is doing and he does the same. – John 5:19
The key to doing is seeing. And the key to seeing is being in relationship with the Father.
This is an event or something you do as a one-off training session.
This is your life. This is the seed sinking into the warm, moist, mud to be buried into the new life of a tree.
Out of sight it transforms and feels radicle become root and plumule stretch into shoot.
It doesn’t happen overnight, or even the day after that. Being rooted and grounded takes time.
Not forever, but still time.
And suddenly, when you least expect it, the seed realises it is now a tree planted by the waters, bringing forth its fruit in its season…simply bearing the fruit that comes forth.
You’re changed by what you behold. And what you behold changes the things around you.
This is a thought that still needs unpackaging.
But when you feel stuck and you’re not sure how to break into another level…just abide in the Word and trust that it is making you into who you’re supposed to be.
