Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. – Exodus 8:1
The purpose of freedom…is worship.
Ultimately, it’s worship of the Lord, Creator of everything.
But even in the shadows of thus Truth, we see countless people hustle their way from poverty to contentment to financial freedom…only to find that “freedom” is empty until they harness it the worth-ship of some ideal, cause or charity.
Moses didn’t talk to Pharaoh about the Promised Land “flowing with milk and honey”, because that was not the purpose for liberating the Israelites.
The purpose for their freedom was so that they could worship the Lord.
From God’s perspective, freedom and worship were 2 sides of the same coin. And He saw that in order for His people to worship Him, they needed to be liberated…carrying the wealth of Egypt on their backs.
So the Big Idea is that if you make worship a priority – regardless of circumstance – your active position as a worshipper will attract all the “Freedom Resources” you need to facilitate your life as a worshipper.
But far bigger than that is this truth.
You are wired to worship. That’s who you are, and that’s what you do.
Align yourself to this Truth and your life will align itself to the Realities of Freedom.
Selah.
