When God shuts you in

Male and female of all flesh went in as God had told Noah. Then the Lord shut him in. – Genesis 7:16

The God Who lives in you is One who “opens doors that no man can shut” (Revelation 3:8).

He’s also One who shuts you in, such that the flood waters cannot reach you.

God shut Noah in, and despite the devastating effects of the flood waters around him – where “every living thing on the earth was wiped out” (Genesis 7:23) – it did not touch him, or those who were with him inside the Ark.

Because God had shut him in.

The boundaries of your life have been established by your Creator who hems you in “behind and before” (Psalm 139:5).

God has hemmed you in, and the devastating flood waters cannot touch you.

This isn’t a goal for you to aspire to, but a Truth you simply need to receive.

Despite the news headlines, despite personal experiences and despite contradicting voices, you simply have to choose the Reality of God sealing you into a place “which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen”. (Job 28:7)

God has shut you in, and nothing can harm you.

Like gravity, this will continue to be true, whether or not you believe it. And like gravity, how you benefit from this Truth depends on how you receive it.

Selah.
