“Yes, I’m on my way! I’ll be there soon! I’m bringing my payroll with me. I’ll pay all people in full for their life’s work. – Revelation 22:12
Thousands of years later, “I’ll be there soon” looks strange to 21st Century eyes of flesh.
But to the Spirit Being, it makes perfect sense.
It’s the difference between a child whining “Are we there yet, are we there yet” from the backseat of a car on a journey that is taking “for aaaages”…and the perspective of an adult who understands that all things considered (distance on the map, traffic, weather, need for rest stops etc), they’re actually moving quite fast.
Journeys to success and failure often feel the same.
Nothing’s happening, nothing’s happening, nothing’s happening…and then suddenly you wake up and realize you’ve arrived.
Proverbs 6:10-12 describes it like this:
Sleep a little. Doze a little.
Fold your hands
and twiddle your thumbs.
11 Suddenly, everything is gone,
as though it had been taken
by an armed robber.
Of course, even though it feels as if nothing’s happening…the truth is that more is going on than meets the eye.
“I’ll be there soon” is a Reality that is unfolding with every second you’re alive.
