Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. – Matthew 6:10
Or: on screen as it is in the film script.
Or: on the ground as it is in the architect’s blueprint.
In other words, none of this starts with you. In fact, all the things you see are simply “copies of the things in heaven.” (Hebrews 9:23)
Understanding this divine order of things – first the heavenly, then the earthly – explains why Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing. He understood that the purpose of His life on earth was simply to reflect the image of the things established in the script of Heaven.
So if something isn’t working, don’t try to force it. Instead, see what’s established in Heaven and just allow it to flow through you on earth.
This subtle shift in posture is extremely important.
