And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; – Genesis 35:11
Be fruitful and multiply.
Two different things. Two different activities.
To be fruitful means to “bear much fruit” (John 15:16) That’s what God designed you to do.
But part of bearing fruit involves baring fruit.
Exposing what you have. Allowing what is simply in the form of a bud to be revealed and mature on the branch.
It’s not your job to decide what the fruit is.
Your role is to simply acknowledge what’s inside you and bare it so you can bear it.
More than that, your role is to simply agree with God’s Word.
Be fruitful and multiply…Amen.
Once you agree, that Word will work in you to will and to do everything God put in you. (Philippians 2:13)
