“But are you really my son Esau?” he asked. “Yes, I am,” Jacob replied. – Genesis 27:24
Jacob wasn’t lying; he really was Esau.
Esau had sold Jacob the legal right to “do business as” Esau. (Dba)
Jacob had to dress the part, smell the part and act the part to complete the transaction as Esau…but he had the right to do something that would be a lie for Jacob, but the absolute truth for Esau.
That’s the same right you received when you got born again.
God gave you the right to “do business as” a son of God in the name of Jesus…regardless of who you are, what you look like, how you feel, or how others challenge you.
As He is, so are you in this world.
And now let the weak say I am strong.
Similar to registering a “C” corporation, don’t do business in your own name.
Instead, do business in the Name which is above every name…the Name you were given the right to use when you got born again.
Don’t do business in your own name. Do business in the Name of Jesus.
