While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. – 2 Corinthians 4:18
“If you can see the invisible, you can do the impossible.”
And the best way to see the invisible – that which is not seen – is to actively “look not” at that which is seen.
Taking your eyes off the circumstances and “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”.
Ignoring Goliath because you’re so focused on the Covenant (and the rewards being offered by the king).
Being oblivious to the storm rocking the boat because you’re resting in the Word “let us go to the other side”.
Looking at the unseen is much easier when you’re not looking at the seen.
Selah.
