So put on all of God’s armor. Evil days will come. But you will be able to stand up to anything. And after you have done everything you can, you will still be standing. – Ephesians 6:13
…it’s not automatic.
You have to consciously outfit yourself with the appropriate armour and clothing for the occasion.
In other words, putting on armour isn’t a sign of weakness, and it isn’t – as Namaan demonstrated – evidence of complete strength.
Putting on armour is just the natural requirement for navigating your Earthsuit in a hostile environment.
However, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
And our armour is made up of “weak and foolish” elements like Truth, Righteousness, Salvation, the Gospel of Peace, and Faith.
Only, these are not as weak as you might think…because this is the armour of the Almighty.
You don’t have to put it on, but if you want to stand in the day of battle, this clothing is not optional.
