{"id":4954,"date":"2026-09-11T09:24:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T09:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/davesali.wordpress.com\/?p=4954"},"modified":"2026-09-11T09:24:24","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T09:24:24","slug":"evil-heart-or-unbelief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/savedali.com\/index.php\/2026\/09\/11\/evil-heart-or-unbelief\/","title":{"rendered":"Evil heart or unbelief"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hebrews 3:12 KJV \u2014 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re living in a time where bad is called good, and good is called bad. This is just how the Bible described it in Isaiah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in this time, unbelief has been branded and positioned as being thoughtful or the mark of diligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It isn&#8217;t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Belief is not independent of thought. And this is not an advocacy for so-called &#8220;blind faith&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Scripture is dealing with your response to something which you know to be true, but choose not to believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Belief is not the reflexive response to experiencing truth. Belief is not automatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So when you choose not to believe in your heart that which you know to be true, that&#8217;s what you need to guard against.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unbelief isn&#8217;t neutral or praiseworthy.
