Genesis 2:16 KJV \u2014 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joseph explained it this way in Genesis 41:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis 41:32 KJV \u2014 And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

And here, God repeats Himself to emphasise His deep desire for man to freely eat of every tree in the garden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
God tells man to freely eat, simply by repeating the words “akhal akhal”, where akhal is Hebrew for eating, devouring, consuming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The moment God says anything once, it becomes a covenant. We can see that in Genesis 1 and Jeremiah 33:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So when God says anything twice, or confirms something to you, it’s a big deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
