{"id":4284,"date":"2020-05-02T20:06:35","date_gmt":"2020-05-02T20:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/davesali.wordpress.com\/?p=4284"},"modified":"2020-05-02T20:06:35","modified_gmt":"2020-05-02T20:06:35","slug":"when-you-feel-like-giving-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/savedali.com\/index.php\/2020\/05\/02\/when-you-feel-like-giving-up\/","title":{"rendered":"When you feel like giving up"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. &#8211; Galatians 6:9<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Feeling like giving up is normal.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, it&#8217;s to be expected when you start down the path of &#8220;well doing&#8221;&#8230;doing something of significance, living out of your true identity in Christ.<\/p>\n<p>So\u00a0<em>when\u00a0 <\/em>you feel like giving up&#8230;don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>Decide not to give up.<\/p>\n<p>The encouragement in Galatians 6:9 reveals a powerful truth: you can decide to &#8220;faint not&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>God never asks you to do something that you can&#8217;t do.<\/p>\n<p>And everything He shows you or says to you through the Scriptures is\u00a0<em>only\u00a0<\/em> to be done using His strength and ability in you.<\/p>\n<p><em>Apart from me ye can do nothing&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So\u00a0<em>when\u00a0<\/em>you feel like giving up, simply decide to keep going and keep sowing, regardless of how persistent the feeling of &#8220;wanting to give up&#8221; is.<\/p>\n<p>And as you keep going, and as you &#8220;not giving up&#8221;, you&#8217;ll find yourself reaping in due season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. &#8211; Galatians 6:9 Feeling like giving up is normal.
