The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; <\/span><\/span>therefore<\/em> <\/span>shall he beg in harvest, and <\/span><\/span>have<\/em> <\/span>nothing.<\/span> – Proverbs 20:4<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There’s the nothingness of ploughing a field in the bitter cold, with nothing but a bag of seeds and the assurance that your effort will not yield a harvest tomorrow…but it will over time.<\/p>\n

And then there’s the nothingness of begging during harvest with no assurances or right to expect anything from land you refused to plough because it was “too cold” and “you couldn’t wait”. You might receive something tomorrow, but it will be the scraps of strangers…nothing like the harvest that you refused to plough for.<\/p>\n

The temporary painful nothingness of ploughing, or the interminate nothingness of begging.<\/p>\n

Choose wisely.<\/p>\n
