Righteousness is a noun.
Like dog, cat, biscuit and American.
A naming word…an identifier.
You are righteous. That’s your identity.

Righteousness used to be an adjective; a describing word.
Fast, slow, big, small, good, bad, wicked, righteous.
A describing Word…looking at your external attributes and actions, and labelling you accordingly.

And before that, in the beginning, righteousness used to be the status quo. The normal. Part of the warp and woof of all of Creation. An integral component of what it meant to be a human being.

Which is where we are right now.

Because you’re born again, you are <\/em>the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

That’s your identity.

That’s your natural state of being.

That’s the wellspring of everything you do.

All you have to do is embrace this reality, and it will end up being reflected in your actions and experiences.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
