He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain <\/span><\/span>persons is<\/em> <\/span>void of understanding.<\/span> – Proverbs 12:11<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When you’re hungry, the temptation can be to follow a trend or a person that promises to solve your problem.<\/p>\n

But instead of following something, you need to follow through on something…which is tilling the land you’ve already got.<\/p>\n

To till means to prepare and cultivate land for crops.<\/p>\n

Tilling involves getting up early to exert yourself.<\/p>\n

Tilling is ploughing, turning soil, breaking up stony ground, mixing in smelly fertiliser, uprooting weeds, clearing out pests.<\/p>\n

Tilling isn’t glamorous or attention-grabbing.<\/p>\n

Tilling is what you do long after any curious bystanders have moved on to the next curiosity.<\/p>\n

Tilling is work that doesn’t immediately look as if it is working.<\/p>\n

But if you’ll commit to the process of tilling what you’ve already got…you will be satisfied with bread.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
