Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.<\/span> – Daniel 5:12<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Doubt is the antithesis of faith.<\/p>\n

Doubt is an element that short-circuits the power of faith to move mountains, walk on water and cause fig trees to wither within 24 hours…simply by speaking a word.<\/p>\n

And the way you handle doubt isn’t by ignoring it, or nurturing it in the name of “being open minded”.<\/p>\n

Instead, you deal with it by dissolving it.<\/p>\n

That’s the insight from Daniel 5:12.<\/p>\n

Doubt is something to be dissolved.<\/p>\n

In the Hebrew, the picture painted for “dissolving of doubts” (shere\u0302’ qet\u0323ar) <\/strong>is the image of someone loosening or untying hard knots.<\/p>\n

In English, the word dissolving makes you think of chemistry, where the way you dissolve something is by placing it in a solution.<\/p>\n

And when it’s in the solution, the chemical bonds (see:knots) that hold it together become broken, allowing the solute to form new bonds and become one with the solution.<\/p>\n

The way to dissolve doubt is by placing it in a solution.<\/p>\n

Water is regarded as a universal solution.<\/p>\n

Through Scripture we understand that the Word of God is water. (Ephesians 5:26): “the washing of water by the word”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So you dissolve doubts by immersing your mind in what the Word of God says, and speaking it to yourself over, and over again.<\/p>\n

Believe what the Word says about you, stir it around in the beaker of your mind by speaking it…and before you know it, doubts will be dissolved and your faith will be free to release it’s full power to change things in your life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
