Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, <\/span><\/span>even<\/i> <\/span>to the children of Israel.<\/span> – Joshua 1:2<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For the children of Israel, Moses was the best thing since sliced bread…a few thousands years ahead of the invention of sliced bread.<\/p>\n

Moses led them out of Egypt.<\/p>\n

Moses led them across the Red Sea.<\/p>\n

Moses brought an end to over 400 years of slavery.<\/p>\n

And then Moses, the servant of the Lord…died.<\/p>\n

His time came to an end.<\/p>\n

What had brought the Israelites up to the Promised Land was no longer there to take them into <\/i>the Promised Land.<\/p>\n

What got them here would not be what took them there.<\/p>\n

And that was okay.<\/p>\n

Because they had Joshua.<\/p>\n

And that’s okay, because as amazing as the old thing was, God’s got a Joshua and a Caleb anmany other new “best things” that He can use to help you possess your Promised Land.<\/p>\n

Even though you don’t have Moses, you can still go in to possess it with Joshua.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
