You are the intersection of 3 worlds: Spirit, Soul and Body.<\/p>\n

You are<\/em> a Spirit, you have<\/em> a Soul (i.e Mind+Will+Emotions) and you live<\/em> in a body.<\/p>\n

You are made up of Spirit, Soul and Body.<\/p>\n

Your Body gives you access to the world around you via the physical senses: touch, taste, smell, sight and sound.<\/p>\n

Your Soul gives you access to the world within you via exploration of your psychology, mentalities, world-views, formative experiences that shaped the way you think, emotional patterns established through childhood traumas, etc.<\/p>\n

And your Spirit gives you access to the world beyond you via your spiritual senses: faith, intuition, premonition, prophesy, confession, repentance (metanoia – changing your mind), love, prayer, praise, worship, forgiveness, angelic visitation, tithing, sowing, thanksgiving etc.<\/p>\n

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal…<\/em><\/p>\n

Each of these 3 worlds is constantly broadcasting and engaging with you at any given moment.<\/p>\n

And your job, as a Spirit being, is to turn up the volume on the things of the Spirit.<\/p>\n

This is a simple task, but not an easy one. Because to walk by faith and not by sight means you will do things that make no sense to your Body or your Soul.<\/p>\n

Like Paul and Silas.<\/p>\n

They’d just been flogged and thrown into a maximum security prison for daring to deliver a young girl from the hands of oppression.<\/p>\n

“That beating was brutal,”<\/em> said the Body.<\/p>\n

“It was also unjust and unfair, given that we’re Roman citizens,”<\/em> added\u00a0the Soul.<\/p>\n

“God is great and greatly to be praised!”<\/em> declared the Spirit.<\/p>\n

Huh?<\/p>\n

That’s how much of a disconnect there is between the things of the Spirit, and the things of the Flesh (Body and Soul).<\/p>\n

It’s also the reason why Paul, Silas, Peter and others experienced\u00a0unimaginable breakthroughs…because they were accessing their resources in the world of the Spirit.<\/p>\n

Spiritual Resources that shook open prison doors, loosed chains, turned water into wine, brought dead wombs\/children\/marriages\/finances\/etc back to life, had weaknesses turned into strength… (Hebrews 11).<\/p>\n

Your Body and Soul are by definition, limited.<\/p>\n

But your Spirit – which is one with the Lord – is unlimited, and has access to powerful resources and Help that can revolutionise\u00a0the situation you’re going through right now.<\/p>\n

In all that you try to change the situation, don’t forget to make use of your Spiritual Resources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
