\u200bBecause it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. – 1 Peter 1:16<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Every time God speaks, He creates.<\/font><\/p>\n

He demonstrated this principle and set the precedent when He steps onto the stage of the opening act of Genesis 1:3 which simply says:<\/font><\/p>\n

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

God spoke a Word, and the response was the creation – the calling into being – of Light.<\/font><\/p>\n

That’s what happens every <\/i>time God sends out a Word. When He speaks, it is to create. To speak is to create.<\/font><\/p>\n

And just as light carries the byproduct of heat, the Word (that Creates) carries with it thr by product of Communication.<\/font><\/p>\n

So when you see that the primary place of the Word is to Create, then all of a sudden many Scriptures take on a new light and we see them for what they truly are.<\/font><\/p>\n

For instance, when God says “Let there be light,” He’s not expecting you to suddenly produce light. He’s expecting His Word – which carries its own power for fulfilment<\/i> – to cause light to come into being.<\/font><\/p>\n

When God says “<\/font>\u201cLet there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth\u201d…that’s exactly what He expects His Word to make happen. <\/span><\/p>\n

But when God says “Be ye holy; for I am holy”, we make the mistake of thinking that He’s communicating an exacting demand about how he expects us to behave.<\/span><\/p>\n

He isn’t. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everytime time God speaks, He creates.<\/span><\/p>\n

So when He says “Be ye holy”, He’s sending out a Word to Create in you a nature that is just like His…and He’s expecting His Word to do the work, not you.<\/font><\/p>\n

All you have to do is “be careful how <\/b>you listen” and just believe that the Word you’ve received is the One to do the work.<\/font><\/p>\n

In other words, receive the Word and don’t get in its way with unbelief.<\/font><\/p>\n

And remember, when God speaks, He always creates.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
