\u200bOne thing have I desired of the <\/span>Lord<\/span>; that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the <\/span>Lord<\/span> all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the <\/span>Lord <\/span>and to inquire in His temple.<\/span> – Psalm 27:4<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When God spent time communing with Adam in the Garden of Eden…what did they talk about?<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

All of Adam’s needs were met, there was no disease, distress, debt or disaster to worry about…so what did Adam have to talk to God about? <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

What was the purpose and focus of their fellowship together?<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Two things.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

  1. Beholding the beauty of the Lord<\/span><\/font><\/li>\n
  2. Inquiring in His temple<\/span><\/font><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Beholding beauty…and inquiring in the temple.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

    Now we understand from Scripture that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19) aka the “house of the Lord” (Psalm 27:4).<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

    So if the Lord is the Lord, and your body is the house of the Lord\/the temple…then the “I” that seeks to “dwell in the house of the Lord. ..” is your Spirit.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

    Remember: you are a Spirit, you have a soul (mind+will+emotions) and you live in a body.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

    And through the Internal scanner of the Scriptures, we can see that the One true desire of your Spirit (the real you) is simply:<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
