\u00a0<\/sup>[Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and<\/i> relies on the Lord, and whose hope and<\/i> confidence the Lord is.<\/span>\u00a0<\/sup>For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and<\/i> fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and<\/i> full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit. – Jeremiah 17:7-8<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He says “Tree”; you see “acorn”.<\/p>\n

He says “Saviour”; you see “pregnant teenager”.<\/p>\n

He says “Father of many nations”; you see “Old man with no children”.<\/p>\n

He says “Wealth and riches”; you see “A stupid idea that nobody is interested in”.<\/p>\n

He calls the end (“Tree”) from the beginning (“planting the seed”), and calls those things which are not as though they were.<\/p>\n

Put simply: God uses words to manifest Reality…not to describe appearances which are deceptive and fleeting (Proverbs 31:30).<\/p>\n

So when what you see doesn’t look like what He says…trust the words.<\/a><\/p>\n
