Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. – Matthew 5:16<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John tells us that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5)<\/p>\n

At the same time, we understand that in the beginning, the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. \u00a0(Genesis 1:2)<\/p>\n

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)<\/p>\n

So we have\u00a0One who is light,\u00a0and has no darkness\u00a0within <\/em>Him, facing a situation of darkness\u00a0without\u00a0<\/em>Him.<\/p>\n

And the way He transfers the light within Him into the darkness without Him?<\/p>\n

He speaks.<\/p>\n

He sends forth a Word, and that Word conveys the light within Him into the darkness without Him.<\/p>\n

Now, you<\/em> are the light of the world; the radiance of the\u00a0kosmos\u00a0<\/em>that enables men to see that which exists but was not visible in darkness.<\/p>\n

You are the agent that stimulates light and makes things visible.<\/p>\n

You are the understanding of a problem or mystery.<\/p>\n

You are a form of energy that makes it possible to see things.<\/p>\n

You are that which travels 186,000 miles\/second across a vacuum…and then hits the point of focus in a child’s magnifying glass to\u00a0spark a blazing fire.<\/p>\n

You are the entire electromagnetic spectrum<\/a> of visible and invisible light: radio waves, microwaves, infra red light, visible light, ultraviolet light, X-rays and Gamma rays.<\/p>\n

You are…the light of the kosmos.<\/p>\n

And your assignment is to let the brilliance of who you actually are…shine before men.<\/p>\n

How?<\/p>\n

By continually speaking out who you are…and letting that Word change what you see.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
