Rock, paper, scissors…shush

Proverbs 17:1 KJV — Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife. In the rock-paper-scissors games of life, quietness (“shush”) is the winning determining factor. Feeding your soul in peace is more important than indulging your flesh’s craving for particular foods. Seek peace and pursue it.

Speak it into being

Proverbs 16:30 KJV — He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass. Shut your eyes, open your mouth and speak your meditations into existence. This works for good as well as for evil. Don’t just wait for it. Speak it into being.
