“…making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil.” – Ephesians 5:16
Start a blog and publish something every single day, even if nobody reads it. The act of writing it will make you a better person.
Drink a green smoothie every day for the next 30-days.
Make your wife a cup of tea, sit down with her at the table, and gaze into her eyes as she tells you about her day.
Stretch and touch your toes.
Say thank you.
Say sorry.
Ask for something outrageous and daring.
Take a shower.
Watch a video that teaches you how to: juggle, speed iron, bake a loaf of bread, tell a joke, beatbox, play a song on the recorder, do something that you’ve always wanted to do, do something that you’ve never wanted to do.
Read a book.
Listen to a podcast.
Pitch your movie idea to the next stranger who’s waiting in line with you at the cafe.
Each of these things can be done in less than 15 minutes. Pick one and do it now.
Once you’ve done it, use Laura Vanderkam’s brilliant (and free) 168-hour planner to map out the rest of your week…and see how you can make a real difference in the world, with just 15-minutes a day.
