Escaping corruption

“…that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” – 2 Peter 1:4

In the beginning was the Word, and in the end is the Word.

But in between the beginning and end was a wrinkle in which the expressions and definitions of the Word were changed from their original meaning.

Light, life and love were exchanged for darkness, death and lust.

Prosperity was exchanged for poverty.

Health was exchanged for sickness.

In other words, through Adam, corruption entered the world: the process by which something, typically a word or expression, is changed from its original use or meaning to one that is regarded as erroneous or debased.

But through the Word, we switch back to the original intention of God…because we now carry His divine nature that imparts His original intention for all things in us and through us.

You’re in a different system now. Walk in it.
