Proverbs 2:6 KJV — For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Asking isn’t about God’s ego or meanness.
Asking is about your free will and God’s inability to violate His Word in forcing you to do anything against your will…even if He’s trying to bless you.
Take the limits off God. Ask Him for the things He is desperately trying to get to you.
