2 Peter 1:5 KJV — And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
To do something with diligence means to be earnest, to make haste and to strive after something…without being in strife.
You’re not going after it in order to make God give it to you.
God’s made it available, and your part is to do whatever it takes to possess what’s already yours.
