This isn’t a riff about dealing with braggarts by calling their bluff and handing them the mic. Okay, so you say you can sing…so sing.
Instead it’s a riff about avoiding being trapped in a barren and untruthful life.
The trap comes from being laden with false gifts, being conned into burying your real talents and becoming a brand ambassador for the false gifts that others have put on you.
Sure, you’ll have the title, the approval of your family (or at least, avoid the disapproval of your family)…but you won’t have any rain.
You won’t have the refreshing, life giving rain that waters the seeds you’ve sown, causing your life to be fruitful and fulfilling in every area.
So if your life feels arid and barren, maybe it’s time to stop promoting the false identity you’ve been using, and time for you to dare to be who you really are.
