That’s the stick of dynamite hidden in plain site in this verse of Scripture.
Here Peter is encouraging us to “grow in grace…”
But implicit in his encouragement is the revelation that growth is a possibility.
You can grow…and you can choose what you are going to grow in.
You can grow.
Way before it was codified by Dweck et al in “The Two Mindsets” , God reveals that you were designed with growth in mind.
Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it.
Bear much fruit.
Your default setting is growth and multiplication.
Choosing to identify with this truth is more than 95% of the battle to experience it.
You can grow.
