Take what’s yours

Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth

you to possess it. – Joshua 1:11

You have been many things.

Gifts, talents, opportunities and aspirations.

You know there is more for you than you are currently experiencing.

You see others doing things and think, “I can do that.”

You see others living life at a level that you know you are supposed to transcend.

You see the impact that people are having and you are hungry to do even more.

All of that has been given to you. All of that is actually your destiny.

But none of that is just going to happen by itself.

You have to take possession of it.

You have to simply decide to take what is yours.

You don’t need to know all the steps.

You just need to take a step in deciding to learn what God has given you, and ask Him to help you as you take possession of it.

By the way, this isn’t “all on you”. You’re not in this by yourself.

The Lord is your Shepherd and Helper.

All He needs from you is a decision and commitment to take possession of everything that Jesus made available for you.

See what the Word says about that…and then get to work in taking possession of what’s already yours.
